Unlike the lightweight, drape-y summer seersucker we all know and love, this Japanese “waffle” has a most unexpected loft and structure. An unusually high twist of the threads stiffen the structure of this weave Fold this fabric in half, then in half again and the waffle pockets hold their shape, creating a fabric with twice the loft of normal seersucker. Those little pockets are going to hold in warmth in cold weather and keep you cool in summer. A truly exceptional fabric.
